About the role: Must be fully licensed We are searching for a highly motivated and organized, independently licensed therapist to provide direct care to Equip's patients and families. The ideal candidate will have interest, knowledge, and experience in treating patients with eating disorders. The candidate must be able to work closely and effectively with a multidisciplinary care team and deliver family-based treatment to those with eating disorders. Candidates will be responsible for evidence-based treatment delivery, quality documentation, and ongoing assessment of families needs. Responsibilities Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting Implement family-based treatment (FBT) for patients with eating disorders and their loved ones Participate in initial and ongoing trainings Assess and diagnose mental health conditions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip's EMR in accordance with Equip's policies and procedures Engage and collaborate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings Job Requirements Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy from at least one US state Ability to manage a caseload of diverse patients with varying degrees of acuity Passion for evidence-based care and treatment Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week (8pm in candidate's time zone) Enthusiastic, strong team player a must Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting Bonus if you have the following Experience in FBT or eating disorder treatment Experience with evidence-based treatment or intensive treatment settings Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment Compensation and Benefits: Equip offers competitive compensation and benefits programs as well as, career development opportunities, and exciting team retreats to ensure community and connection. The Bilingual Therapist provides individuals and group psychotherapy as a licensed or waivered clinician. The therapist will develop and execute appropriate treatment plans, and provide services under the ethical and clinical guidelines of best practice for their discipline. The responsibilities of this position, may include but are not limited to the following: Maintains appropriate training requirement to meet specific requirements to achieve/maintain professional license and/or certification. Provides individual and family psychotherapy. Provides services within clinic or other appropriate site, as needed. Provides treatment according to any evidence-based practices for which they have been trained. Develops treatment plans to ensure client progress and evaluate on an ongoing basis. Provides linkage and advocacy to ensure that the client and family have access to services that will help achieve treatment goals. If practicing using and evidence-based practice, ensures fidelity to the model. Maintains thorough treatment records in a timely manner according to the requirements of client's funding source. Follows all quality assurance guidelines and ethical/legal guidelines. Participates in weekly staff meetings and case presentations. Meets productivity expectations as set by Clinic Director. Be available to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of clients and the department. Participates in individual supervision as required depending upon licensure. If unlicensed and working under the supervision of a licensed professional, therapist must keep supervisor informed of all crisis situations, updated on all clinical cases, and follow direction of supervisor Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Clinic Director. Requirements and Qualifications: Must be either a LCSW or ACSW. Experience with substance use population is highly desired. Possess a Degree in Social Work or Psychology. Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Previous experience working with diverse populations desirable. Experience providing Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MAP or Triple P parenting highly desirable.
